Pastor David has served First Baptist Church since July of 1997. His primary passion is to learn, and then teach the Word of God to the best of his ability.

David has been married to his beautiful wife, Mindy, since December of 1983. She has been his prayer partner, confidant, sounding board, and greatest supporter since he entered the ministry. They have two wonderful daughters who are currently students at Texas A&M University. Rebecca is a Psychology major. She and her husband, Heath Clark, currently live in College Station, TX., and both plan to graduate in May 2008. Rachel is a Visualization major in the Architecture Department, planning to graduate in May 2009.

David holds a B.S. from Texas A&M University and a M.Div from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
