We, at First Baptist Church are set apart for the glory of Jesus Christ for the purpose of:

Praising God through obedience, prayer, & worship
Raising disciples for His service through Biblical teaching
Admonishing one another toward righteousness through loving fellowship
Yearning to bring others to our Savior through our Christ-centered ministries

Our Affiliation

First Baptist Church is uniquely aligned with the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention. We are a member of the Neches River Baptist Association and believe in the unity and strength of the local church.

Doctrine Statement

First Baptist Church holds to the Doctrine Statement of the Baptist Faith and Message. We believe the Bible to be the inerrant & infallible Word of God. We believe that salvation comes by grace alone, through faith, in Christ alone.
